EXDS was formed in 2001 by Steve Grimbley, former UK professional services director for EXE technologies (formerly Dallas Systems), a leading supplier of warehouse management software.
Steve worked for Tesco Stores Plc for 10 years in both a logistics and IT role Prior to joining Dallas Systems/EXE technologies in 1994.
Over the last 18 years Steve has designed, developed and implemented WMS solutions into the retail arena in varying degrees for Tesco Stores Ltd, Superdrug, Kwik Save, Londis Holdings, Iceland Frozen foods , John Henderson, Sonae and Halfords. In addition to the retail sector, Steve has also worked on numerous 3pl implementations including installations for BAX, Fritz, K&N, Frigoscania, TDG, Norfolk line, Gist, and Maersk and in the manufacturing arena Steve has been responsible for implementations into Heinz, TDS , LG and Esselte.
Finally, Steve has implemented e-fulfilment solutions for Somerfield 24 x 7 and Sainsbury to you.
These implementations ranged from 1-user facilities to pan European solutions covering multiple users over 17 sites in 7 different countries and covered a wide range of technical solutions.
The EXDS team comprises of Implementation Specialists who focus on specific areas of the WMS installation including testing and training & education.
