EXDS was formed in 2001 by Steve Grimbley, former UK professional
services director for EXE technologies (formerly Dallas Systems now Infor),
a leading supplier of warehouse management software.
Prior to this Steve worked for Tesco Stores Plc for 10 years in both a logistics and IT role Prior to joining Dallas Systems/EXE technologies in 1994.
Over the last 24 years Steve has designed, developed and implemented WMS solutions into the retail arena in varying degrees for Tesco Stores Ltd, Superdrug, Kwik Save, Londis Holdings, Iceland Frozen foods , John Henderson, Sonae and Halfords. In addition to the retail sector, Steve has also worked on numerous 3pl implementations including installations for BAX, Fritz, K&N, Frigoscania, TDG, Norfolk line, Gist, and Maersk and in the manufacturing arena Steve has been responsible for implementations into Heinz, TDS , LG and Esselte.
Steve has been providing independent advise on selecting and implementing WMS solutions for the last 8 years for clients such as Halfords, Clarks, Outdoor Group, Spar International and Henderson Wholesale in Northern Ireland. He has worked on implementing a number of different WMS solutions including Manhattan Associates
